Misterio is a proactive AI agent for customer support and sales. It answers customers 24/7 in 75 languages and works inside the helpdesk a company already uses. On a website it can also start the conversation when a visitor hesitates. Misterio is built by Shifting Apps Ltd, registered in Cyprus (no. HE 421169). We started it in 2025.
Our mission
Good customer service shouldn't depend on the time of day or the size of a support team. A customer who writes at 2 a.m., in their own language, about a payment that hasn't arrived should get a real answer right away. We want every company to be able to give that answer, and to let its people spend their time on the conversations that need a person.
The market
Customer service is moving to AI agents. Gartner expects agentic AI to resolve 80% of common customer service issues without human intervention by 2029.[1] In a 2026 survey, service leaders reported 38% growth in AI spending against 2% growth in their overall budgets.[2] Customers still want a person within reach, and 87% say a company that uses AI in customer service must offer a way to reach a human agent.[3] Misterio is built for both. It resolves requests inside the tools a team already uses, and when a person should step in, the team gets the whole conversation.

What we build
Support teams get the same questions around the clock, in many languages and through many channels. Many of them are processes rather than FAQ answers: a payment that hasn't arrived, an order to change, an account to check. A typical AI bot answers the first message and passes the rest to a person. And teams that set AI up on their own often take far longer than they planned.
Misterio follows each company's own scenarios. It checks data in the company's systems, takes actions such as opening a ticket, and passes the whole conversation to the team when a person should take over, so the customer doesn't have to repeat anything. It works inside Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk, HubSpot, LiveChat, Bitrix24 and more, so nothing has to be replaced. Our team sets it up together with the customer. After launch, the customer changes scenarios without code.
Business model
We charge per conversation. Each monthly plan includes a package of conversations with no seat fees, and one package covers all of a company's AI agents and channels. Current plans are on our pricing page.
Customers
Companies in fintech, online entertainment, affiliate marketing and online communities use Misterio to answer their customers. Some of them share their results in our customer stories.
Funding
We have no outside investors yet. We've built Misterio on our own money and on revenue from customers. We're open to investment, on terms that work for both sides. We're looking for a visionary who believes in what we're building and brings experience as well as money.
Team
We're a team of three: the founder, a full-stack engineer and an ML engineer. Customers work directly with the people who build Misterio, from the first setup call onward.
Programs and trust
We're a Microsoft for Startups partner and a member of NVIDIA Inception. Misterio is listed in the CSA STAR Registry at STAR Level 1 and STAR for AI Level 1, where our security self-assessments are published. Customer data is not used to train AI models. Our DPA sets out how we process data under GDPR.
Where we're headed
Next on our list are WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, so Misterio can answer customers there too. After that, our focus stays on solving more of each request end to end, while each company's team keeps control of what Misterio says and does.
